Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of Evran, including the mobile application and related website pages. By using Evran, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Evran Provides

Evran is a flashcard study app for creating, organizing, importing, exporting, syncing, and reviewing learning material. Features include folders and sets, color themes, card metadata, rich flashcard content, image and drawing inputs, study settings, progress metrics, streak details, reminders, preset study packs, read aloud support, CSV import, CSV export, PDF export, Recently Deleted, and iCloud synchronization.

Features may vary by app version, operating system, device type, language, region, or Apple service availability.

License

Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Evran for personal, educational, or internal professional study purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of Evran except where applicable law allows it.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the flashcards, folders, images, drawings, imported files, exported files, notes, and other material you create, store, sync, or share through Evran.

You represent that you have the rights needed to use any content you add to Evran, including photos, images, vocabulary lists, study notes, and imported CSV files. Do not use Evran to store or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content.

Imports and Exports

Evran can import CSV files with question and answer column headers. You are responsible for checking imported data for accuracy, formatting, legality, and suitability for your study needs.

Evran can export decks as CSV or PDF. Once exported, those files are controlled by you and by the apps, services, or people you share them with. Review exported files before sharing them.

Preset Library

Evran may offer preset language and vocabulary packs for convenient study setup. Preset content is provided for study support and may contain errors, omissions, or changes over time.

Preset packs are not a substitute for professional instruction, certification requirements, official curriculum, or expert advice.

Study Results and Learning Outcomes

Evran provides tools for studying, including quiz sessions, retry options, studied and remembered metrics, streak details, and reminders. We do not guarantee any specific grade, score, certification, retention result, language proficiency level, or learning outcome.

You are responsible for deciding how to study, verifying important information, and using appropriate official or expert sources when accuracy matters.

iCloud Sync and Apple Services

If you enable iCloud synchronization, your Evran data may sync through your personal iCloud account across supported Apple devices. iCloud is provided by Apple, not by us.

Apple services, App Store downloads, device compatibility, storage availability, family sharing, refunds, subscriptions if any are offered in the future, and Apple account access are governed by Apple's terms and policies.

Reminders and Notifications

Evran can provide local study reminders and streak protection reminders. Notifications depend on device permissions, operating system settings, focus modes, battery settings, and other Apple platform behavior.

Reminders are convenience features. You remain responsible for your own schedules, deadlines, exams, assignments, and study obligations.

Recently Deleted and Backups

The Recently Deleted vault is intended to help recover accidentally deleted sets, but it is not a guaranteed backup system. Items may be permanently removed by you, by app behavior, or through device and iCloud changes.

Keep separate backups of important study material, especially if it is difficult to recreate, legally significant, confidential, professional, medical, or needed for exams.

Privacy

Your use of Evran is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Evran is designed with a Data Not Collected approach for developer access, with flashcard data processed locally and through your personal iCloud when sync is enabled.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Evran in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others
• Import, create, export, or share content you do not have permission to use
• Attempt to disrupt, compromise, or misuse Evran or related services
• Use Evran to create deceptive, harmful, abusive, or illegal material
• Remove notices, interfere with security features, or misrepresent your relationship with Evran

Intellectual Property

Evran, including its app design, name, logo, interface, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Evran to you.

You retain responsibility for and ownership of your own flashcard content, subject to any rights held by others in material you add or import.

Updates and Changes

We may update, change, add, or remove features from Evran over time. We may also update these Terms when the app, legal requirements, or business needs change.

Continued use of Evran after updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.

Availability and Compatibility

We aim to keep Evran useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device or operating system version, or continued availability of every feature.

Some behavior depends on Apple platforms, including iCloud, notifications, text-to-speech, App Store distribution, device storage, and operating system permissions.

Disclaimers

Evran is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

Evran is a study tool and does not provide legal, medical, financial, educational accreditation, professional, or exam-preparation guarantees.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost study material, missed deadlines, or learning outcomes related to your use of Evran.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Evran at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to app-related services if required by law, platform rules, security needs, or misuse of the app.

Deleting the app may remove local data from your device. Data synced through iCloud is controlled through your Apple account and device settings.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Consumer protection laws in your country or region may provide additional rights that these Terms do not limit.
